Red Velvet

‘Red Velvet Cake’ part 1

Quite a good colour, moist, dense without being stodgy. Used a high sugar to flour ratio, and all egg whites. As you can see, it became a little misshapen in the tin, and came out with a bit of a ‘waist’. Tastes great though, especially with the simple fudge chocolate frosting πŸ˜‹

The frosting is a simple 2 ingredient recipe from ‘My Cupcake Addiction’ and is absolutely delicious. I made it the same way as in the video, with half milk and half dark chocolate, and I seriously could have eaten it with a spoon!
